Milly: Reina del Merengue

A film inspired by the life of the famous Dominican singer Milly Quezada, who, as a child, had to flee her country to escape the 1965 civil war and ended up in Washington Heights, where the wave of Latin American immigration was just beginning. 

Una película inspirada en la vida de la famosa cantante dominicana Milly Quezada, quien, siendo niña, tuvo que huir de su país para escapar de la guerra civil de 1965 y terminó en Washington Heights, justo cuando comenzaba la ola de inmigración latinoamericana.
